(I should note that I have absolutely no connection with this restaurant other than being a happy client.) am still extremely confused about why Lithos is not ranked as #1 best restaurant in Livingston, NJ - which it really deserves. We frequently eat at Lithos - sort of a Saturday night tradition in recent years - and I have reviewed before (last year). Price tag: dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine $195+gratuity. We will definitely give it another chance, their menu is unique and we are looking forward to try some other dishes. We liked the ambiance, place is modern and little fancy, wish all other patrons were dressed up more appropriate, you could see a mix of people who put some thought into their outfits (like we did), but also others that wore sort of gym clothes (!!!). Side note, portions are on the smaller side, we are not big eaters so for us they were perfect, but for average consumer they may be lacking. I don't remember the name of dessert my hubby ordered (it had angel hair pasta on the bottom) and Chocolate Lava cake were good as well. Main course Halibut (slightly on the dry side) and Tuna another good choice. Spanakopita and Lobster souvlaki good appetizers. Got attention right away, order was placed and items began arriving on the table. No wait time, we were seated immediately. Made a reservation with specific seating request, they honored it.
